Materials Program Manager

EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology)-Zollner is looking for a Materials Program Manager to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare, and we're proud to build a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work.

Job Summary:

Assembles and solders engineering prototype, pilot and small run production jobs.

Essential Functions:

• SMT, Thru-Hole and electromechanical assembly and soldering using engineering and/or pre-production documentation.
• Working through product start up issues with engineering and customers.
• Supporting rework and inspection of production products on an as needed basis.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support team goals.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

Five years of experience in Electronic Manufacturing environment.

Skills/Knowledge /Abilities (SKA):

Hand soldering of SMT and Thru-Hole components. Extensive rework skills in SMT and Thru-Hole technology. Identification of electronic components. Must be able to interpret drawings and work instructions. Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes.

Working Conditions: Normal Manufacturing Work Environment

Work Location: Leesburg, VA (on-site)

Schedule: 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off

Environment: Warehouse setting with climate-controlled work areas

Physical Requirements: Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
